1st steel truss girder of Pingtan cross-strait highway-railway bridge installed

A ceremony was held Tuesday to celebrate successful installation of the first steel truss girder of the 16.34-kilometer-long bridge linking Songxia Township of Changle and Pingtan Island. With the weight of about 1,350 tonnes, the girder is 80 meters long and 35.5 meters wide. (Xinhua/Lin Shanchuan)
